David masterfully handles projects from start to finish, ensuring ultimate quality control. Whether installing cabinetry, laying tile, or simply truing-up a door, David provides the same meticulous attention to detail and craftsmanship as he does when making heirloom-quality furniture of his own original design. As a very young boy he demonstrated a natural talent for all things mechanical, and never passed up an opportunity to accompany his father, a plumber and electrician who immigrated to the United States after World War II, on his jobs. In his early twenties, David’s reputation for high-quality work had preceded him, and he was entrusted with the immense responsibility of maintaining an exclusive 20-acre private Massachusetts property. Here, his practical education began while his repertoire of abilities expanded. During these years, David also took courses in electronic and mechanical drafting at Rhode Island’s Hall Institute and was awarded Best Drawing for three consecutive competitions.
